Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. is offering a remote Legal Intern position for Summer, May–September, open to 1Ls and 2Ls with no space-law experience required.

You will work directly with attorneys and regulatory specialists on commercial space law, regulatory policy, and government contracts while supporting license, export compliance, and contracting activities. You will gain hands-on exposure to the satellite lifecycle and learn from aerospace professionals in a fast-paced startup environment that values

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a J.D. program (1Ls and 2Ls welcome).
Strong research and writing skills.
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Genuine interest in space, technology, or government contracting.
Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices that track license conditions, reporting obligations, and procedures.
Support the broader Legal and Contracts team with research and administrative work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations.
Assist with additional legal, corporate and regulatory projects as they come up, including filings, process documentation, and export-compliance recordkeeping.
