Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. offers a Summer Legal Internship that is fully remote, running May to September. 1Ls and 2Ls are encouraged to apply; no prior space-law experience is required. You will work with experienced attorneys on licenses, government contracting, and export compliance for impactful projects.

You will build regulatory matrices, support contracts and NDAs, and conduct legal research with mentorship and real-world impact on Muon Space’s operations.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a J.D. program (1Ls and 2Ls welcome).
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Well-organized and detail-oriented.
• Interest in space, technology, or government contracting.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices that track license conditions, reporting obligations, and procedures
• Support the broader Legal and Contracts team with research and administrative work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements
• Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations
• Assist with additional legal, corporate and regulatory projects as they come up, including filings, process documentation, and export-compliance recordkeeping
