Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. invites a Summer Legal Intern to join our remote, full-time internship from May through September.

We welcome 1Ls and 2Ls with no prior space-law experience to apply and gain hands-on exposure across licensing, contracting, export controls, and regulatory policy while collaborating with seasoned attorneys and regulatory specialists. You will contribute to commercial space law projects, government contracting matters, and regulatory filings, with real impact on Muon Space's

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a J.D. program (1Ls and 2Ls welcome).
Strong research and writing skills.
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
Genuine interest in space, technology, or government contracting.
Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices that track license conditions, reporting obligations, and procedures.
Support the broader Legal and Contracts team with research and administrative work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations.
Assist with additional legal, corporate and regulatory projects as they come up, including filings, process documentation, and export-compliance recordkeeping.
