Job summary

Muon Space, Inc. is seeking a Legal Intern to gain hands-on exposure to commercial space law, regulatory policy, and government contracts.

This full-time, remote internship welcomes 1Ls and 2Ls and offers mentorship from experienced attorneys and regulatory specialists. Responsibilities include building regulatory compliance matrices, supporting the contracts team, and conducting legal research that informs Muon’s operations and growth in the satellite lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a J.D. program (1Ls and 2Ls welcome).
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, and eager to learn.
• Genuine interest in space, technology, or government contracting.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working remotely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain regulatory compliance matrices tracking license conditions, reporting obligations, and procedures.
• Support the broader Legal and Contracts team with research and administrative work on commercial agreements, government contracts, NDAs, and vendor agreements.
• Conduct legal, regulatory, and market research and synthesize findings into clear written summaries and recommendations.
• Assist with additional legal, corporate and regulatory projects, including filings, process documentation, and export-compliance recordkeeping.
