Job summary

Sanner America, headquartered in Durham, NC, seeks a Business Development Manager to identify and win new business for CDMO services. The role focuses on Southeast/East Coast opportunities with a flexible, fully remote setup within the territory.

The ideal candidate is an experienced hunter with a track record in medical devices, product development, and contract manufacturing. You will manage the sales cycle and drive long‑term partnerships across Engineering, R&D, Operations and Quality.

Qualifications

5+ years of business development in medical devices or life sciences.
Proven track record of originating, developing and closing high‑value opportunities.
Experience managing multi‑stakeholder sales cycles from development to manufacturing.
Experience selling CDMO, product development or engineering services.
Consultative, value‑based selling with multiple stakeholders.
Strong understanding of medical device development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Develop a strategic territory plan to achieve revenue targets.
Generate new-logo opportunities through outbound prospecting and events.
Prospect, cultivate, and convert opportunities in medical devices and drug delivery.
Maintain a qualified sales pipeline and disciplined prioritization.
Lead the full sales process from prospecting to contract handover.
Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Marketing to deliver proposals.
