Job summary

Dornier MedTech America is seeking an Associate Business Development Manager to drive capital equipment sales to hospitals, ASCs, VA and DOD facilities across the US. You will build relationships, guide purchasing decisions from lead to contract, and collaborate with Territory Managers, Associate Managers, and Service Managers.

The role requires strong communication, high travel readiness, and a track record in B2B sales within medical devices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in business, marketing, communications, or life sciences.
• 5–7 years of outside B2B sales experience.
• 1–3 years of medical device or capital equipment sales preferred.
• Frequent travel required (≈75%+), including overnight trips; remote work from home when not traveling.

Responsibilities

• Set up customer visits to observe capital equipment and discuss features and benefits.
• Quote pricing and financing options and coordinate with operations for contracts.
• Collaborate with Dornier Territory Managers, Associate Managers, and Service Managers.
• Travel within the territory to meet prospective customers on budget timelines and project status.
• Build lists of prospective customers from cold calls, telemarketing leads, trade shows, and directories.
• Communicate daily by phone and email with hospitals, physician offices, ambulatory centers, VA and DOD facilities, and colleagues.
• Prepare reports on business transactions and maintain expense accounts.
• Perform daily administrative tasks including Salesforce activities and opportunities.
• Support the Business Development Manager with additional duties.
