Job summary

in-lite is seeking a Business Development Manager to expand the brand across North America from a remote role with travel. You will partner with distributors, dealers, and professionals to grow the network and strengthen in-lite’s position as a leading outdoor lighting brand.

You’ll drive growth with an entrepreneurial mindset, building strong relationships, delivering tailored sales plans, and coaching the US sales team while traveling to meet partners and customers across Canada and the U.S.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management.
• Strong relationship-building skills focused on long-term partnerships.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Canada or the U.S.
• Excellent presentation and communication skills.
• Affinity with design, lighting, landscaping, or related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Achieve the set sales budget for new and existing business in the region.
• Manage regional key customers and national accounts.
• Create tailored sales plans and negotiate terms to close deals.
• Identify market trends, growth opportunities, and share insights for US strategy.
• Strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, and professionals for long-term success.
• Host product training sessions and inspiration events for partners and professionals.
• Collaborate with the US sales team and coach US sales representatives.
