Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a Solutions Quality Engineer II to bolster testing across functional, regression, integration, data, and UAT activities. You will drive testing standards, defect management, and release readiness in a healthcare/government-focused environment.

You will partner with developers, product managers, and business analysts to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery across multiple projects. A remote-based role with nationwide applicants is offered.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software quality assurance experience.
• Experience creating and executing test plans, cases, scripts, and defect documentation.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, data validation, and UAT testing.
• Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery.
• Ability to review requirements, user stories, and technical documents.
• Proven defect management and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies and plans aligned with SQA standards.
• Create detailed test cases, scenarios, and testing documentation.
• Execute manual testing across software apps, workflows, and data exchanges.
• Support automated testing and identify automation opportunities.
• Perform regression testing after deployments and changes.
• Conduct backend/data validation testing using SQL or similar tools.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and release planning.
• Track QA metrics and report release readiness.
