Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a Solutions Quality Engineer II to design, execute, and improve testing practices across functional, regression, integration, data, and UAT testing. You will contribute to QA standards, defect management, and release readiness in a healthcare technology context.

The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in Scrum ceremonies, and supporting both manual and automated testing while staying current with QA trends and best practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in software quality assurance, healthcare IT delivery, or related IT environments.
• Experience creating and executing test plans, cases, scripts, scenarios, and defect docs.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, data validation, and UAT.
• Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery.
• Ability to review requirements, stories, and technical design documents.
• Ability to identify risks, gaps, defects, and inconsistencies in requirements or design.
• Experience with Jira or Azure DevOps for defect tracking.
• Working knowledge of SQL or data validation methods.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple testing priorities across projects.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements, create test strategies and plans.
• Create detailed test cases, scenarios, scripts, and testing docs.
• Execute manual testing across applications, integrations, and data exchanges.
• Support automated testing, run existing scripts, and identify automation opportunities.
• Perform regression testing on new functionality and updates.
• Conduct back-end data validation testing using SQL.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, analysts, and stakeholders.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies and release planning.
• Track QA metrics and report release readiness.
