Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a Solutions Quality Engineer II for a remote based role open nationwide. You will design, execute, and improve testing practices across functional, regression, integration, data, and UAT testing to support reliable software products and healthcare technology solutions.

You will collaborate with developers, product managers, and business analysts, contribute to release readiness, and help grow the SQA practice through metrics, automation support, and quality

Qualifications

• 4+ years of software quality assurance in healthcare tech or related IT environments.
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect documentation.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, data validation, and user acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methods.
• Ability to review business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, and technical design documents.

Responsibilities

• Develop test strategies and plans from requirements and technical documentation.
• Create detailed test cases, scenarios, scripts, and testing documentation per SQA standards.
• Execute manual testing across software applications, workflows, integrations, reports, and data exchanges.
• Support automated testing activities and run existing automation scripts.
• Perform regression testing when new functionality is deployed or configurations change.
• Conduct backend and data validation testing using SQL or equivalent tools.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution using defect management tools.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to verify fixes and support release readiness.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, release planning, defect triage, and sprint reviews.
