Job summary

Signature Performance is seeking a Solutions Quality Engineer II to design, execute, and optimize testing across platforms and integrations. You will contribute to test strategy, risk assessment, and release readiness while partnering with developers and product teams.

This remote role requires 4+ years in software QA, experience with test plans, SQL data validation, and agile delivery. You will help improve testing standards and metrics in healthcare-oriented solutions.

Qualifications

4+ years of software quality assurance experience in healthcare technology or related IT delivery environments.
Experience creating and executing test plans, cases, scripts, scenarios, and defect documentation.
Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices.
Experience with functional, regression, integration, data validation, and user acceptance testing.
Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.
Ability to review requirements and design documents to identify risks and discrepancies.
Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar work-tracking tools.
Working knowledge of SQL or other data validation methods.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Review requirements and documentation to develop test strategies and plans.
Create detailed test cases, scenarios, and testing documentation aligned with SQA standards.
Execute manual testing across applications and integrations; support automation efforts.
Perform regression testing when new functionality is deployed or configurations change.
Conduct back-end data validation to confirm accuracy and processing outcomes.
Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
Participate in Scrum ceremonies and release planning as needed.
Track and report quality metrics including test execution and release readiness indicators.
