Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant experience in software quality assurance or healthcare technology.
• Experience creating and executing test plans, test cases, test scripts, and defect documentation.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, processes, and best practices.
• Experience with functional, regression, integration, data validation, and user acceptance testing.
• Familiarity with Agile, Kanban, Waterfall, or hybrid project delivery methodologies.
• Ability to review business requirements, functional requirements, and technical design documents.
• Ability to identify risks, gaps, defects, and inconsistencies in requirements or design.
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of SQL or other data validation methods.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple testing priorities across projects and stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, operations, and clients.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Independent work style with the ability to prioritize and communicate status.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Review requirements and docs to develop test strategies and plans.
• Create detailed test cases, scenarios, and documentation aligned with SQA standards.
• Execute manual testing across applications, workflows, integrations, data exchanges, and UIs.
• Support automated testing and identify opportunities for automation.
• Perform regression testing when new functionality is deployed or updated.
• Conduct back-end and data validation testing using SQL.
• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, release planning, and defect triage.
• Track QA metrics and report release readiness indicators.
• Support user acceptance testing and defect reporting processes.
• Develop and improve testing processes for products and solutions.
• Stay current with QA methodologies and healthcare IT trends.
• Coach or mentor SQA engineers when needed.
• Support release management by validating functionality and communicating quality risks.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing standards and documentation.
• Perform other related duties as necessary.
