Job summary

AuthZed is seeking a Solutions Engineer to help qualify and close opportunities by showcasing how our authorization infrastructure meets customer requirements. You will partner with Account Executives to capture technical needs, design live permissions schemas, and build PoCs for prospects.

You will lead demos and technical sessions, identify product gaps, and ensure customer success by maintaining compelling, up-to-date demos and clear communication with clients and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a solutions engineering role or similar technical position
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a relevant field
• Proficient in modern backend languages (Go, Python, Java, or Node) and relational DBs (Postgres)
• Experience deploying solutions in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and managing Kubernetes
• Strong communication and ability to translate technical requirements for diverse audiences
• Experience with training sessions, demos, and stakeholder presentations

Responsibilities

• Qualify and close opportunities by demonstrating AuthZed meets prospects' requirements
• Collaborate daily with Account Executives in a pre-sales role to document customer requirements and SLOs
• Design live permissions schemas and PoCs to validate solutions with prospects
• Lead virtual and in-person product demonstrations and technical sessions
• Identify product gaps and communicate them to the product team
• Create, improve, and troubleshoot dynamic customer demos to ensure success
