Job summary

AuthZed is seeking a Solutions Engineer to qualify and close opportunities by delivering deep technical evaluations, sales presentations, and product demonstrations. You’ll collaborate with Account Executives to capture customer requirements, document SLOs, and design scalable architectures using SpiceDB and related authorization tech.

You will lead live demos, identify product gaps, and craft PoCs to validate solutions with prospects, while contributing to dynamic customer demos and resolving

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a solutions engineering role or similar technical position.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a relevant field.
• Experience with backend languages and cloud environments.
• Strong ability to document customer requirements and present technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and close opportunities with customers; provide technical expertise during evaluations, demos, and PoCs.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to document technical requirements, SLOs, and architecture.
• Lead virtual and in-person demos and deep-dive sessions.
• Identify product gaps and communicate with the product team.
• Create, improve, and maintain dynamic customer demos and troubleshoot issues.
