Job summary

Dynatrace is seeking a Solution Engineer to join our US-based sales engine, delivering expert Dynatrace demonstrations and remote/onsite PoCs. You will build key customer relationships with DX teams and marketing, collaborating across innovation labs and expert services.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in observability, strong web tech and modern DevOps experience, and travel up to 30%. Remote position; must live in or near Twin Cities or Green Bay, WI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience.
• 5 years of experience in the observability space.
• Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with programming/scripting languages (Java, .NET, PHP, Go, Node.js) and databases.
• OS knowledge (Windows, Linux).
• Experience with DevOps or SRE practices; cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience with containers, Kubernetes/OpenShift, serverless, CI/CD.
• Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Puppet, Terraform).

Responsibilities

• Evangelize Dynatrace at trade shows and customer meetings.
• Identify new sales opportunities with sales reps.
• Lead PoC creation and cloud-architecture discussions to support opportunities.
• Present Dynatrace’s vision to C-suite executives.
• Provide guidance through Discovery, Solution Evaluation, and Solution Proposal stages.
• Deliver on-stage demonstrations at events and booths.
• Collaborate with partners and internal teams to tailor demonstrations.
• Gather customer feedback to Product Management to improve market fit.
• Share knowledge and best practices within the team.
• Identify learning opportunities with leadership to maintain market leadership.
