Job summary

Norstella is seeking a Solutions Engineer to bridge technology and client challenges in a remote US role. You will partner with account executives across the research, development and commercial cycle, leading discovery, solutioning and demonstrations using Norstella data and AI capabilities.

You will scope proofs of concept, deliver bespoke engagements inside client environments, and help shape statements of work with commercial teams, turning client ambition into deployed, repeatable solutions.

Qualifications

• Domain knowledge of pharma and life sciences: clinical trials, pipeline and asset intelligence, epidemiology, market access, or forecasting.
• 3–5 years in a solutions engineering, sales engineering, or technical consulting role for data/analytics/SaaS products, ideally with enterprise clients.
• Outstanding communication: able to present to both technical and commercial stakeholders.
• Strong discovery instincts to reveal actual client goals; listen more than you pitch.
• Comfort with ambiguity; the role and market are evolving.

Responsibilities

• Pre-sale technical partnership: understand client challenges and map to Norstella capabilities.
• Design and deliver tailored demonstrations for actual use cases, not scripts.
• Scope proofs of concept and engagements with defined success criteria.
• Deliver bespoke engagements inside client environments with trial and hypercare.
• Shape statements of work with commercial teams covering deliverables and risks.
• Work with client engineering, IT and vendor teams as the technical face of Norstella.
• Turn one-off client work into reusable IP and enablement material.
• Feed field intelligence back to product on recurring requirements and patterns.
