Job summary

TailorMed is seeking a Solutions Engineer to partner with the sales team and design the right technical solution for customers. You will lead technical discovery, discuss API, HL7 and FHIR integrations, and deliver compelling product demos and proposals.

This remote role is based on the US East Coast, with less than 5% travel. You will help align customer requirements with company capabilities and drive sales success.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with REST APIs and integration concepts.
• Ability to discuss HL7 v2 and FHIR with technical stakeholders.
• Experience explaining technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales to advance opportunities in the pre‑sales process.
• Lead technical discovery and discuss API, HL7, and FHIR integrations in depth.
• Conduct product demos, craft proposals and SOWs, respond to RFPs.
• Architect solutions across APIs, HL7 v2, FHIR and file‑based exchanges.
• Hand off to implementation with requirements and specs; maintain customer engagement.
