Job summary

TailorMed is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join our US-based team as an individual contributor, driving growth by partnering with the sales team to understand customer needs and design the right technical solution.

You will be the technical voice in the sales cycle, leading technical discovery, discussing API, HL7 and FHIR integrations in depth, conducting product demos, and crafting proposals and SOWs. This remote role is based on the US East Coast with less than 5% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in pre-sales, solutions engineering, integration or technical consulting for software.
• Strong background with REST APIs and integration concepts; able to discuss with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with HL7 v2 and FHIR is a strong plus.
• Knowledge of EHR, practice management, pharmacy management and revenue cycle systems is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with sales to understand customer needs and design technical solutions.
• Lead technical discovery and discuss API, HL7, and FHIR integrations.
• Demonstrate products and craft proposals and SOWs.
• Prepare RFP responses and security questionnaires.
• Handoff to implementation with requirements and open items.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers as trusted advisor.
• Stay informed on industry trends to guide product development.
