You will mentor a team, collaborate with sales, professional services, and product management, and champion our platformization efforts while building trusted advisor relationships across customer organizations.

Qualifications

• Experience as a pre-sales System Engineer Manager.
• Experience as a Senior System Engineer or Specialist.
• Knowledge of security product market trends and competitor offerings.
• Ability to design and deliver comprehensive security solutions for Palo Alto Networks customers.
• Experience in selling, designing, implementing or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation technologies.
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• TS/SCI clearance; Full Scope Poly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire Solutions Consultants for the territory.
• Train, mentor, and review team members, keeping them engaged and successful.
• Support field Solutions Consultant team in complex evaluations and challenging customer environments.
• Lead technical validation efforts to ensure a technical win in opportunities.
• Define, create and monitor individual development plans for team members.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialist teams for customer implementation and adoption.
• Provide effective technical leadership in customer interactions and share security trends.
• Drive Palo Alto Networks Platformization efforts within accounts.
• Coordinate with Domain Specialist Manager to align resources to projects.
• Act as escalation point for issues with pre-sales and post-sales teams.
• Build and maintain reference-able customer relationships to drive growth.
• Present to customers as an expert at all levels from technician to CIO.
• Discuss competitor products and position Palo Alto Networks as the best alternative.
• Provide feedback to Product Management on required features from customers.
• Travel 50-75% within the region.
• Develop a technical strategy with the DSM to accelerate growth.
