Job summary

Palo Alto Networks is seeking a Solutions Consultant Manager who will lead the District Solutions Consulting team, guiding customers in understanding their environment and maximizing value from our platform.

You will recruit, mentor, and coach your team while collaborating with Sales, Professional Services, and Product teams to accelerate growth and protect customers against cyber threats.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and hire new Solutions Consultants into the territory.
• Train, mentor, and review team members to keep them engaged and successful.
• Support field Solutions Consultants in complex evaluations and customer environments.
• Provide technical leadership in customer interactions and share security trends.
• Define development plans for team members and monitor progress.
• Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success and Specialist teams to drive adoption of solutions.
• Drive Platformization efforts within accounts and coordinate with resource management.
• Act as escalation point with pre- and post-sales teams for issues.
• Build strategic relationships with customers to enable reference accounts and growth.
• Present as a domain expert to stakeholders from technicians to CIOs.
• Discuss competitors and position Palo Alto as the best alternative.
• Gather customer feedback to influence product management and R&D.
• Travel 50-75% within the region.
• Develop a technical strategy with the DSM to accelerate growth.
