Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Solution Architect to lead deployment of CAD systems, mobile apps, and records management solutions for public safety customers across the United States. The role combines field engineering with close collaboration with customers and project teams, owning project scope, interfaces, and deliverables.

You will collaborate with project managers to ensure on-time delivery within defined scope and cost, while communicating technical details clearly and solving complex

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience as an engineer in an engineering or technology environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and implements customer installation activities in a time-sensitive manner.
• Elicits customer requirements and communicates technical details in verbal and written form to all levels of the organization.
• Understands public safety customer environments for product security and reliability.
• Delivers solutions within the context of a defined product, standard interfaces, and limited flexibility.
• General software and IP network debugging skills are critical. Must be a problem solver.
• Installs, integrates, deploys, and delivers defined solutions.
• Identifies product defects and monitors resolution from engineering to customer acceptance.
• Tracks billable hours for project work completed.
