Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks a Solution Architect to lead deployments of CAD, mobile apps, and Records Management Systems for U.S. public safety agencies. The role spans from sales handoff to service delivery, owning project scope and interfaces within standard, reusable components.

The candidate collaborates with project managers, engineers, and customers, documenting progress and ensuring security and reliability per CJIS requirements. Remote work and travel under 25% are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Technology or equivalent required.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering, systems integration, or related technology roles.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely; sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and implement customer installation activities on a time-sensitive schedule.
• Elicit customer requirements and communicate technical details clearly to all levels.
• Understand public safety environments for product security and reliability.
• Deliver solutions within defined product interfaces and scope.
• Perform general software and IP network debugging; act as a problem solver.
• Install, integrate, deploy, and deliver defined solutions.
• Track billable hours for project work.
