Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Solution Architect to work remotely across the United States. The role leads deployment of CAD, mobile apps, and records management systems from Sales to Service, coordinating with project managers to ensure on-time completion within scope and cost constraints.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in systems integration or related tech fields, a bachelor’s degree in engineering or information systems, and is eligible to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Technology, plus experience in one of: systems integration, software engineering, systems engineering, product development, systems test, or systems support.
• 4+ years of experience as an engineer in an engineering or technology environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely. Employer sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and implements customer installation activities in a time-sensitive manner.
• Elicits customer requirements and communicates technical details to all levels of the organization.
• Understands public safety customer environments for product security and reliability.
• Delivers solutions within the context of a defined product, standard interfaces, and limited flexibility.
• General software and IP network debugging skills are critical; must be a problem solver.
• Installs, integrates, deploys, and delivers defined solutions.
