Job summary

Motorola Solutions in the United States is seeking a Solution Architect to lead deployment of CAD, mobile apps, and RMS across customer sites. This remote role serves clients nationwide and requires collaboration with Sales, Project Management, and engineering.

The candidate will own project scope, interface deployments, and deliverables, with strong troubleshooting skills and experience in public safety solutions.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Technology, plus experience in one of the following areas: systems integration, software engineering, systems engineering, product development, systems test, or systems support.
• 4+ years of experience as an engineer in an engineering or technology environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and implements customer installation activities in a time-sensitive manner.
• Elicits customer requirements and communicates technical details in verbal and written form to all levels of the organization.
• Understands public safety customer environments for product security and reliability.
• Delivers solutions within the context of a defined product, standard interfaces, and limited flexibility.
• General software and IP network debugging skills are critical. Must be a problem solver.
• Installs, integrates, deploys, and delivers defined solutions.
• Identifies product defects and monitors resolution from engineering to customer acceptance.
• Tracks billable hours for project work completed.
