Job summary

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Solution Architect for remote work across the United States. The role covers deploying Computer Aided Dispatch, Mobile Applications, and Records Management Systems, with direct customer interaction and collaboration with project managers to ensure on-time delivery.

You will own project scope, interfaces, and status reporting, working with the interface development team to standardize solutions and troubleshoot with minimal supervision. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, or Technology.
• 4+ years of experience in engineering or technology environments.
• Ability to obtain legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and implements customer installation activities in a time-sensitive manner.
• Elicits customer requirements and communicates technical details to all levels of the organization.
• Understands public safety customer environments for product security and reliability.
• Delivers solutions within the context of a defined product, standard interfaces, and limited flexibility.
• General software and IP network debugging skills are critical. Must be a problem solver.
• Installs, integrates, deploys, and delivers defined solutions.
• Identifies product defects and monitors resolution from engineering to customer acceptance.
