Job summary

Coastal is seeking an experienced Solution Architect for pre-sales in the Healthcare & Life Sciences practice, focused on Payer/Provider. You will own technical deal strategy, architect enterprise solutions, and lead proposal development across Salesforce and multi-cloud stacks.

AI agent strategy and governance play a key role in this role. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in pre-sales or technical leadership within healthcare software, with deep payer/provider domain mastery and strong

Qualifications

Experience in pre-sales solution engineering or architecture within healthcare IT.
Deep familiarity with payer and provider operations and HIPAA considerations.
Proven ability to craft LOEs, RFP/RFI responses, and SOWs.
Strong multi-cloud architecture experience including Salesforce Health Cloud.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery, architecture, and scoping workshops with health executives.
Translate business objectives into scalable Salesforce-based solutions.
Develop delivery estimates, staffing plans, and delivery roadmaps.
Direct technical deal-desk and lead complex SOWs and proposals.
Define AI agent use cases and guardrails for clinical safety and compliance.
Guide demos, reference architectures, and end-to-end pre-sales assets.
Align pricing, terms, and staffing with delivery leadership for a smooth handoff.
