Job summary

Primoris Renewable Energy seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead the design, construction execution, and commissioning of utility-scale solar EPC projects. You will drive engineering, procurement, safety, and schedule adherence while building trusted client relationships across project lifecycles.

The role requires 8+ years in solar project management, self-perform construction experience, and a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management, with extensive travel (50%+).

Qualifications

• 8+ years of Project Management Experience.
• Utility-Scale Solar Self-Perform Construction experience.
• Experience managing multiple projects at once.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Experience with Microsoft suite. Database experience is a plus.
• Experience with Primavera 6 and Microsoft Project scheduling software.
• Experience in leadership of teams of people.
• Extensive travel required (50%+).

Responsibilities

• Ensures solar projects are designed in a safe and reliable manner with safety team.
• Maintains quality management system.
• Oversees and manages engineering and design throughout projects.
• Develops and manages customer relationships across project lifecycles.
• Leads upfront planning and adheres to design/construction schedules.
• Manages financials and coordinates with Project Control.
• Oversees contract administration between customer and EPC.
• Leads pre-construction and closeout activities.
• Coordinates equipment selection and procurement with Engineering and Supply Chain.
