Job summary

Nextpower, based in Fremont, CA, seeks an Account Manager to manage lifecycle with established and prospective customers, coordinating cross-functional teams to move projects from concept to implementation.

The role requires 10+ years in technical B2B sales, CRM proficiency, and strong presentation skills. Travel up to 25% is expected; base salary ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 plus commission. Remote work is possible with advance approval.

Qualifications

BS/BA in a business or technical field.
10+ years of technical / complex B2B sales preferred.
Prior energy experience preferred.
Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Experience utilizing Salesforce, CRM.
Demonstrated attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel up to approximately 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

Manage day-to-day interactions with customers and internal stakeholders.
Collect and analyze project data to create comprehensive product proposals.
Identify and target key decision makers.
Collaborates with internal cross-functional departments to ensure winning bid strategies.
Drive deal execution and contract negotiations with a cross-functional team.
Work with the Director on deal structuring and bid strategy.
Ensure accurate forecasts and data hygiene in the CRM.
