Job summary

RTX is seeking a SW Platform Engineer Co-op in a remote-capable role targeting senior or postgraduate students with a Dec 2027 graduation in CS or STEM. The program includes security clearance activities, required training, and mentorship, with a path to onsite full-time in Richardson, TX after graduation.

During the co-op, you will engage in seminars and training, develop software using Python and other scripting languages, and gain exposure to cloud and DevSecOps tools.

Qualifications

• Senior or Post-Graduate with graduation in December 2027 in CS or STEM.
• Must have a minimum of 90 credit hours by start of internship/co-op.
• Experience in software development using scripting languages (Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash, or Shell).

Responsibilities

• Support design, development, and maintenance of systems for mission needs.
• Participate in monthly engagement seminars and required Raytheon training.
• Work with security clearance activities and mentor meetings during co-op.
