Job summary

RTX’s Raytheon ASDS division is hiring Software Engineer co-ops for a part-time remote role aimed at seniors or graduates with a December 2027 graduation date. Successful candidates will be submitted for a U.S. Government security clearance.

During the co-op, you will attend monthly seminars, complete Raytheon trainings, and engage in security clearance activities. After graduation and clearance, you’ll transition to a full-time onsite role in Richardson, Texas to support the design,

Qualifications

• Senior or Post-Graduate with graduation in December 2027 in Computer Science or related STEM
• Must have at least 90 credit hours by start of internship/co-op
• Experience developing object-oriented software using Java in a Linux environment
• Ability to troubleshoot software errors and fix in IDE like Eclipse or VSCode

Responsibilities

• Participate in Raytheon Co-op program with monthly engagement seminars
• Complete required Raytheon trainings and security clearance activities
• Support design, development and maintenance of systems for mission support
• Transition to full-time onsite role in Richardson, Texas after graduation and clearance
