Job summary

RTX in the United States is seeking a System Engineering and Test Engineer co-op for part-time remote work. Targeted at senior or postgraduate students with an expected December 2027 graduation, the role requires eligibility for a U.S.

government security clearance (TS/SCI without Polygraph). Upon selection, the co-op will pursue clearance and engage in seminars, training, and mentorship while contributing to aerospace and defense projects.

Qualifications

• Senior or Post-Graduate with graduation/ completion in December 2027 in CS or related STEM major.
• Academic or internship experience that included hands‑on testing of electronic equipment.
• Exposure to troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting, or as part of a hobby.
• Exposure to data analysis using MATLAB

Responsibilities

• Customer domain specific mission concepts and technologies.
• Principles of systems engineering, including requirements, architecture and test.
• Software engineering approaches, use of AI, and agile development techniques.
• Platform/software infrastructure basics, including CI/CD.
