RTX is seeking a software engineer co-op in Richardson, TX, targeting senior or graduate students with an expected graduation date of December 2027. This is a part-time, remote role with mentorship and opportunities to participate in security clearance activities.

During the co-op, participants will learn software engineering approaches, collaborate with a team, and complete required Raytheon training. Upon graduation and clearance, they transition to a full-time onsite position in Richardson to

Formación

• Must be a Senior or Post-Graduate with graduation/ completion of studies in December 2027 in Computer Science or related STEM major
• Must have a minimum of 90 hours of credit by the start of the internship / co-op session.
• Experience developing object-oriented software using Java in a Linux environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot software errors and provide fixes in a modern IDE such as Eclipse or VSCode

Responsabilidades

• Support design, development, and maintenance of systems for missions during the co-op period.
• Collaborate with engineers and mentors in the program.
• Participate in security clearance activities and required Raytheon training.
