Job summary
WEX FSM is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead multiple software teams, shaping engineering culture and best practices. You will mentor engineers, conduct regular feedback cycles, and drive adoption of modern tools and design patterns to accelerate development velocity and reduce technical debt.
In collaboration with Product, you will translate business requirements into technical specifications, align engineering roadmaps with product goals, and ensure robust, scalable software
Qualifications
- 5+ years of software engineering experience or 1+ years in software engineering management.
- Fundamentals of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and processes.
- Experience with automated testing tools, especially unit testing.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and management for software engineers.
- Conduct regular 1-on-1's with feedback and performance reviews.
- Drive innovation and keep teams current with technologies and trends.
- Collaborate with Product to translate requirements into technical specs and estimates.
- Define and enforce high-quality coding standards and tests.
