WEX, Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Mobility Mobile Engineering organization, delivering high-quality iOS and Android apps.

You will guide an engineering team, shape culture, and partner with Product, Design, Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure to craft exceptional mobile experiences. The role emphasizes developing people, driving engineering excellence, and executing large-scale initiatives while balancing speed, quality, and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years of engineering management experience leading software teams.
• Experience delivering native iOS/Android or cross‑platform mobile apps.
• Strong mobile architecture, lifecycle management, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder skills.
• Knowledge of security, privacy, and data protection for mobile apps.
• Experience using automation and AI-assisted development tools.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute long-term engineering strategy for WEX Mobility Mobile Experience.
• Lead cross-functional teams with Product, Design, Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain the engineering roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Foster innovation, collaboration, ownership, and operational excellence.
• Improve delivery velocity, quality, and productivity through better processes.
• Lead complex cross-functional initiatives from planning to execution.
• Prioritize mobile experiences in partnership with Product and business leaders.
• Establish and monitor metrics to improve delivery and reliability.
• Plan, execute, and review sprints, roadmaps, and operating rituals.
• Maintain healthy roadmap with OKRs and leadership alignment.
