Job summary
WEX is seeking an experienced Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Mobility Web Experience Engineering organization, delivering scalable web applications for thousands of mobility interactions. You will guide architecture, strategy, and a cross-functional team, partnering with Product, Design, Security, and Infrastructure to drive excellence.
You’ll develop a roadmap, mentor engineers, and establish metrics to improve delivery, quality, and reliability, while shaping a culture of innovation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in a technical field.
- 8+ years of software engineering experience with leadership responsibilities.
- Experience delivering modern web apps using Angular/React and micro-frontend patterns.
Responsibilities
- Define, own, and execute the long-term engineering strategy for the Mobility Web Experience.
- Lead cross-functional teams, drive engineering excellence, and improve delivery velocity.
- Develop and maintain the engineering roadmap aligned with business needs.
- Hire, coach, and mentor engineering managers and engineers.
- Establish metrics to improve quality, reliability, and team effectiveness.
- Collaborate with Product, UX, Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure.
