Job summary

WEX Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Mobility Web Experience Engineering organization. You will guide the team in delivering high-quality web applications that power thousands of mobility customer interactions and collaborate with Product, Design, Architecture, Security, and Infrastructure teams.

You will develop people, drive engineering excellence, and execute large-scale initiatives while balancing speed, quality, and reliability across the platform.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of software engineering experience.
• 4+ years of engineering management experience leading software teams.
• Experience delivering modern, scalable web applications with Angular or React and micro-frontend patterns.

Responsibilities

• Define, own, and execute the long-term engineering strategy for the Mobility Web Experience.
• Develop and maintain the engineering roadmap aligned with business priorities.
• Lead cross-functional engineering initiatives from planning through execution.
• Hire, develop, mentor, and retain high-performing engineering managers and software engineers.
• Provide regular coaching, performance feedback, and career development.
• Communicate engineering strategy, progress, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership and stakeholders.
