10X Business Consulting is building its first US-based software engineering team and seeks an Engineering Technical Manager to lead the Connectivity Squad. Raleigh, NC or remote options offer impactful work shaping our SaaS platform.

You will guide engineers, collaborate with Product Managers, and influence technical design while delivering high-quality software in an agile environment using modern cloud architectures.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of engineering/development experience - full stack development using Java, TypeScript, ReactJS and PHP.
• Experience leading software engineers and direct reports (3+ years).
• Proficiency in Agile/DevOps environments and cloud-based architectures.

Responsibilities

• Providing leadership, support, and motivation to a squad of software engineers
• Creating learning and development plans to expedite career progression
• Working with the squad Product Manager to understand customer and business needs
• Contributing to technical design and architecture of software/platforms
• Hands-on coding and driving code quality through reviews and tests
• Managing initiative scope before, during and post-delivery
• Identifying and removing bottlenecks to enable progress
• Ensuring regular delivery of features in line with Agile methodologies
• Advocating software engineering practices through blogs, events, and roundtables
