One Call is seeking a Software Engineer Lead to own major development tasks, mentor teammates, and ensure delivery within the SDLC framework. The role emphasizes collaboration with business partners and adherence to deadlines in a remote-first environment.

The position requires a BS in CS or related field, and experience leading software projects across multiple teams. Expect a dynamic workload and opportunities to influence back-end and integration work across our worker's compensation platform.

Qualifications

• Understanding of end-to-end software development life cycles (waterfall, iterative, agile).
• Proficiency in gathering requirements and translating them into technical designs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Provide software development services and technical support for defined projects.
• Follow One Call SDLC standards and best practices.
• Design, code, test, and maintain software components and applications.
• Collaborate with analysts, product managers, and partners to deliver on time and budget.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical leadership.
