Job summary

One Call is seeking a Software Engineer Lead to drive development across multiple projects from home-based teams in a remote-first environment. The role involves leading technical initiatives, mentoring junior staff, and ensuring timely delivery of software solutions for internal and external customers.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and strong knowledge of SDLC, requirements definition, and collaborative work across business partners.

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support in defined projects.
• Follows One Call SDLC Standards.
• Develops program logic for new applications or modifies existing logic.
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, and maintains software applications.
• Maintains, tests and integrates application components.
• Ensures system improvements are implemented successfully.
• May provide leadership and/or guidance to other technical professionals.
• Collaborates with analysts and product managers to translate requirements into designs.
• Writes technical specifications and documentation.
• Contributes to planning, analysis, and forecasting of projects.

Education
