Job summary

One Call is seeking a Software Engineer II for a remote-first role to design, code, test, implement, maintain and support software used by internal partners and external customers.

You will collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and other engineers to deliver solutions on time and within budget across the development lifecycle while upholding One Call's values and standards.

Qualifications

• End-to-end software development life cycle knowledge (waterfall, iterative, agile)
• Strong requirements definition and modeling abilities
• Excellent customer service and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Excellent problem-solving and time management abilities
• Detail-oriented and capable of working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work both independently and in a team, aligning with DEI standards

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support in defined projects
• Follows One Call SDLC Standards and writes technical specifications
• Develops, tests, debugs, documents, implements, and maintains software applications
• Analyzes requirements and translates business needs into product designs
• May provide leadership or guidance to other technical staff
• Participates in planning, analysis, and forecasting activities for projects
