One Call is hiring a Software Engineer II to design, code, test, and maintain software used by internal teams and external customers. You will collaborate with analysts, product managers, and peers to ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards.

This remote-first role emphasizes SDLC adherence, strong communication, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of end-to-end systems development life cycles (waterfall, iterative, agile, etc.).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support in defined projects.
• Follows SDLC Standards and develops logic for new applications or updates.
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications.
• Ensures system improvements are implemented and aligns with One Call processes.
• Translates requirements into product designs and writes technical specs.
