Job summary

One Call is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, code, test, and maintain software used by internal teams and external customers. You will collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and other engineers to deliver features on time and within budget, following established SDLC standards.

The role emphasizes strong communication, problem solving, and the ability to work in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies (waterfall, iterative, agile).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software applications for internal and external users.
• Follow One Call SDLC Standards.
• Code, test, debug, and document software; maintain components.
• Collaborate with analysts, product managers, and other engineers.
• Provide guidance to junior staff and participate in planning.
• Analyze requirements and translate into design and specifications.
• Prepare technical documentation and improve processes.
