Job summary

One Call is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, code, test, and support software used by internal teams and external customers. You will collaborate with business analysts and product managers to deliver tasks on time and within budget, contributing to the development of new or updated code.

The role emphasizes adherence to SDLC standards, effective communication, and proactive problem-solving in a remote-first environment. Bachelor-level education in CS/IS is preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of end-to-end SDLC methodologies (waterfall, iterative, agile).
• Proficiency in business modeling and requirements definition.
• Excellent customer service skills for internal/external customers.
• Strong verbal and written communication for diverse audiences.
• Willingness to share knowledge with peers.
• Strong problem-solving and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support.
• Follows One Call SDLC Standards.
• Develops/program logic for new applications or modifies existing ones.
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software.
• Maintains, tests and integrates application components.
• Ensures system improvements are implemented successfully.
• Analyzes requirements and translates them into product designs.
