One Call seeks a Software Engineer II to design, code, test, and support software used by internal partners and external customers. You will collaborate with business analysts, product managers, and other engineers to ensure delivery on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Experience with end-to-end software development life cycle (waterfall, iterative, agile).
• Ability to model requirements and translate them into designs.
• Strong customer service orientation for internal/external users.
• Excellent written and verbal communication across levels.
• Proactive in sharing knowledge and solving problems with teams.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provides application software development services or technical support on defined projects.
• Follows One Call SDLC Standards and develops/adjusts logic for applications.
• Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software.
• Maintains, tests and integrates application components.
• Ensures improvements are implemented and aligns with workers' compensation domain knowledge.
• Participates in planning, analysis, and translating requirements into designs.
• Writes technical specifications and other documentation.
• May provide leadership to other technical staff and guide project tasks.
