Job summary

One Call is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, code, test and maintain software used by internal teams and external customers. The role supports a remote-first environment with collaborative teams across the organization.

The candidate will work within the SDLC, interact with business analysts and product managers, and contribute to timely delivery while adhering to budget constraints. 2–5 years of related experience and a BS in CS or related field are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent
• 2–5 years of application development experience for Software Engineer II
• Knowledge of end-to-end software development life cycles (waterfall, iterative, agile)
• Excellent written and verbal communication for technical and non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

• Provide software development services or technical support in defined projects
• Follow One Call SDLC standards
• Develop logic for new applications or modify existing ones
• Code, test, debug, document, and maintain software applications
• Collaborate with analysts and product managers to deliver on time and budget
• Write technical specifications and documentation
• Mentor junior staff when needed
• Plan and forecast project tasks and timelines
