Job summary

Leidos is seeking a Software Asset Management Analyst to join the CIO Services team. The role focuses on lifecycle management of software assets, ensuring compliance, cost optimization, and accurate entitlement data using ServiceNow SAM Pro.

Responsibilities include licensing, reconciliation, audits, and data quality improvements, with telework from any U.S. location and a requirement for U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in information technology, business, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of Software Asset Management experience, with at least 1 year using ServiceNow SAM Pro.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills (PowerPoint, Excel with pivot tables).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Administer ServiceNow SAM Pro to enable accurate software installation discovery and license compliance.
• Create and maintain software entitlements and license distribution in relation to ServiceNow contracts.
• Perform license reconciliation comparing entitlements to deployments and usage.
• Monitor software consumption and identify opportunities for license optimization and cost savings.
• Analyze integrations with discovery tools (e.g., SCCM, JAMF, Intune, Nexthink) for data quality.
• Support audits by delivering precise entitlement, deployment, and usage data.
• Collaborate with ServiceNow developers to define requirements and troubleshoot defects.
• Identify process gaps and drive automation for efficiency.
