Job summary

Hitachi High-Tech America, Inc. is seeking a Site Project Coordinator for a fixed-term contract to support the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.

This remote-US-CA role collaborates with project leadership, field personnel, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to achieve safety, quality, and operational excellence. You will assist the Project and Site Manager, coordinate meetings, supervise safety programs, and liaise with owners and government officials.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field required.
• Active CA Class B General Contractors License or Class C-61/D-34 Specialty Contractors License required.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Project and Site Manager and Technical Supervisor in resolving construction issues.
• Coordinates site meetings, defines agendas, and prepares minutes.
• Reviews schedules, procedures, and safety reports prepared by the Subcontractor.
• Accountable for setting the Safety Standard on the Project and establishing productivity monitoring procedures.
• Liaises with the Owner and Government officials as it pertains to the project.
• Provides knowledge of local means and methods.
• Provides knowledge of heavy equipment installation.
• Responsible for communication with Trade Labor Unions on and off site.
