Job summary

Pond & Company is seeking Site Managers to join our fuels systems team. Positions may be worked remotely (with travel) with candidates living in MA, CT, NY, NJ, PA, RI, VT, ME, MD, VA, WV, DE, DC.

Site Managers plan, organize, coordinate, monitor, and administer onsite work to meet project requirements on time, within budget, and in line with quality and safety standards. Build strong client relationships for successful, profitable projects.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in wetted fueling systems (piping, mechanical work, upgrades, hydrant systems, tank work, coatings, inspections).
• Knowledge of construction practices, codes and standards related to POL systems.
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance or favorable BI background.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Monitors service orders and coordinates with Service Order Manager and management.
• Maintains ongoing engagement with recurring maintenance activities and goals.
• Reviews scopes of work and ensures health, safety and quality plans are followed.
• Serves as direct support on service orders with Pond, subcontractors, Huntsville Corp of Engineers and SPIs.
• Coordinates with maintenance manager to adhere to schedules and contract requirements.
• Conducts weekly and bi-weekly meetings to discuss actions and resolve issues.
• Oversees development of service orders and ensures timely delivery of contract deliverables.
• Keeps client informed on high-priority repairs and looks ahead in schedules.
