Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a ServiceNow Technical Lead for a full-time remote opportunity in the United States. The role offers hands-on technical leadership, architecture guidance, and delivery oversight for the ServiceNow platform, bridging business stakeholders and developers.

The successful candidate will guide roadmap execution, set architecture standards (CSDM, CMDB governance), manage releases, and mentor staff while collaborating with enterprise architects to prioritize backlog and sprint work.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow design, implementation, and administration.
• At least 2+ years leading technical teams or projects.
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, REST/SOAP APIs.
• Experience with ITSM, CMDB/CSDM, and additional core modules (ITOM, ITAM/HAM, CSM, etc.).
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, ITIL v4, and ATF testing.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations, task planning, code reviews, and quality assurance for a team of developers, sys admins, and analysts.
• Enforce ServiceNow development standards, scoping, and release management to minimize debt.
• Mentor team members on script performance, Flow Designer automation, and platform upgrades.
• Architect end-to-end ITSM/ITOM solutions aligning with OOTB functionality.
• Design enterprise integration using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP, and Mid Servers.
