Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a ServiceNow Technical Lead for a full-time remote opportunity. Located in the US, you will provide hands-on technical leadership, solution architecture, and delivery oversight for the ServiceNow platform.

You will guide roadmap execution, establish architecture standards (CSDM, CMDB governance), manage release cycles, and mentor developers and admins. You will lead day-to-day operations, enforce development standards, and drive end-to-end solutions across ITSM, ITOM,

Qualifications

6+ years of hands-on ServiceNow design, implementation, and admin work.
At least 2+ years leading technical teams or projects.
Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, REST/SOAP.
ITSM, CMDB/CSDM, plus two additional core modules (ITOM/CSM/etc.).
Experience with Agile/Scrum, ITIL v4, and automated testing (ATF).

Responsibilities

Lead day-to-day operations, task planning, code reviews, and QA for a team.
Enforce development standards, scoping, and release management.
Mentor on script performance, Flow Designer, and platform upgrades.
Architect end-to-end solutions aligned with OOTB functionality across modules.
Design integrations using Integration Hub, REST/SOAP, and Mid Servers.
Enforce CMDB class hierarchy, data reconciliation, and discovery schedules.
Translate business requirements into technical user stories and roadmaps.
Collaborate with Process Owners and Enterprise Architects to prioritize backlog.
Serve as primary technical escalation point for production incidents.
